The Civic Association preserves Lansdowne's past, sponsors events and prepares for the community's future. Members promote small town values, historic preservation, upholding aesthetic standards, and environmental responsibility.
The GLCA led campaigns to create Sycamore Park (featuring Lansdowne's 350 year old sycamore), restore the Lansdowne World War Monuments and the Lansdowne Railroad Station. They also led the campaigns to establish two National Register Historic Districts in Lansdowne.

Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1946, the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest community orchestras in the Greater Philadelphia area, celebrating more than 50 years of music-making. Its season runs from October to April.

Lansdowne Folk Club

The Lansdowne Folk Club, founded in 1993 is an all volunteer non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to presenting folk, acoustic, and blues music. All folk club concerts take place in the gracious library room of Lansdowne’s 20th Century Club, 84 S. Lansdowne Avenue.
